Polldubh Falls

Two Glens
Today we headed south to visit Glencoe.
First stop was the visitor centre at Glencoe.
There was an exhibition of Hamish MacDonald prints on at the centre which was lovely to see.
We then had a little walk round before heading back to the car heading south to get a closer view of the Three Sisters.
The Sisters were looking very atmospheric as the weather had started to close in.
After lunch at the Clachaig Inn we headed back towards Fort William.
This afternoon we headed up Glen Nevis stopping for a small stroll at the 'Braveheart' car park.
After our stroll we headed further up the Glen to the waterfalls at Polldubh.
What a beautiful setting.
Lovely to explore these waterfalls and afterwards we took the path to Paddy's Bridge which follows the river.
Beautiful views of Ben Nevis and some of the other peaks which make up the Nevis range.
As we headed back we were treated to spectacular views of Ben Nevis lit up by the late afternoon sun.
My image shows a close view of the lower falls at Polldubh and my extras are Glencoe, and the other gives an idea of the setting of the falls.
