Lovely walk ---

-- but not a lovely day as when we climbed up above the hamlet of Ponden, seen here, to Haworth Moor, the heavens opened and it rained and rained.

We abandoned it after four miles when we saw a sign post back to our starting point cutting out the last two miles. I truly think I've never been so wet!

We didn't miss out on the refreshments though but came home first to get changed into dry clothes! Ironically it was quite sunny in the afternoon.

The picture shows Ponden Reservoir with the trees at the head of it in the centre left are hiding Ponden Hall where we had afternoon tea a couple of weeks ago.

Quite a come down after last week's holiday.
