Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle'
What a coincidence.
Not too bad for Annabelle's 1st flowering year.
We watched her with trepidation as these, rather pretty, very tiny, very flat, little things appeared. First they were a sort of delicate, pastel greeny/bluey shade. Ever so slowly, they grew, turned green and expanded: still flat. Slowly, they turned white, just as slowly they started to form the ball-shape we were expecting.
Yeeeee HAH! She's chuffed to bits.
