Work done

Well baking work anyway. Actually not quite as I remember I will be making Danish pastries in the morning. But all the cakes that need to be baked are baked. Which has meant the ratio of paid work to baking has not been entirely as it should. So I was relieved when I not only got a two day reprieve on a piece of work, it happened in a way that made me look super flexible.

I'm sure there has been other stuff but for now all I can recall are cakes so here are the finished emoji cupcakes.

Oh, I remembered something else good...Jackson played 5 games of chess, 4 with Carl and 1 with me. I was a little reluctant as it is really not my game but I paid attention and tried really hard and actually made it last quite a long time and not get completely slaughtered. And throughout there were some beautiful glimpses of J looking really, properly happy.
