Brockholes

Our workshop finished after breakfast this morning. We wanted to make a day of it and planned to go to Gordale Scar and Janet's Foss. The weather wasn't great but at least it wasn't raining. When we got to Malham we found the road to Gordale was closed! We started to walk it but half way, when we saw the hill we would have to walk back up, we decided on a change of plan as the weather was turning worse and it was very dark, the photos would have been flat anyway. 

We continued on our journey and ended up at our planned lunch stop in time for an early lunch. We then had an hour at Brockholes, although we didn't see much wildlife, except this chap. 

Home mid afternoon. Just time to do the washing and re-pack before part two of my holiday!
