Finally, A Squirrel

I was sitting in the beauty shop yesterday, getting my hair cut. (Yes, I get my hair cut in a beauty shop.) I was complaining to my hairdresser/daughter that I have lost my best Blip model (grandson Merrick is now in school), and that my squirrels have deserted me. Well, 2 showed up today.

What do you think the squirrel is doing? You have four choices.

A. He is praying for more peanuts.
B. He is giving thanks for the peanuts he has received.
C. He is very skilled in karate, and is getting ready to engage in battle against the other rodent.
D. He is like David Ortiz, the baseball player, and is spitting on his hands before batting.
E. He is smelling his hands after handling some black walnuts. YECH!!!
F. None of the above.

The answer is F. He was doing our equivalent of a "sponge bath", using his tiny tongue to clean his paws and tail.

I do love me some squirrel...the WORLD'S most amazing animal.
