So long....

.... but not goodbye.

Today is their last time together for 5weeks. The girl was excited because the lesson was at lunch time so she got to be a "home lunch" for the first time. Only she had her (hot) lunch in the car on the way. She had a really brilliant lesson. They got a lot done - and if today had been her exam she'd have got really good marks. Plenty to work on though in the coming month. Katie gave her the gifts she'd made. B slipped me gifts for her birthday. They had big hugs and katie asked for a photo. These two really do have a very special bond. They said goodbye and we headed to the car, but Katie had a bit of a weep on my shoulder & then in the car.

Ballet after school, then Katie had coaching for her song and dance as we have learnt that they've changed the time limits for that category and it's now too long, where before it was perfect. It's going to be a rush to learn the new arrangement. The competition is in 12 days and it's not been re-done yet. Argh.
