Hygge

A hyggelig day. We waved R and H off for a few days in the Lot. Hopefully the weather will be better there; yesterday was our first really autumnal day, and today we were catching the edge of an épisode cévénole hitting the Hérault.  In other words, it was raining. I baked yet another two loaves of sourdough (a daily occurrence while we had visitors) and the rest of the day was spent indoors, mostly reading. In the evening: wine, nibbles, and a quick dinner made of leftovers. We haven't lit the fire yet, but it's getting close. And now I'm going to catch up on Bake Off ...
