Monday: Mandy Hard At Work

I was last to leave the office tonight, or so I thought.  I popped into the office downstairs only to find Mandeville still hard at work.  Wenlock, of course, has finished all his duties and I am not quite sure where he has disappeared to.  But Mandy, of course, doesn't really start until 29th August and has got loads to do until then.

But seriously, weren't the last two weeks great?  It seems to me that, for once, the whole of the UK was caught up in the excitement of the moment.  I pulled up for petrol tonight only to have the petrol attendant come running over to the car, saying: 'Are you from London?  The Olympics, fantastic - what a city!'  

And, yes, London - what a city!
