Sunday: Slow Day

Today was a beautifully slow day, the kind of day you should feel guilty about, but don't.

K. came home last night with real bacon so we started the day with real bacon butties!! I was so excited! And what else did she bring me for my birthday? An ipad!! Yes, Booky is now also the owner of a lovely new ipad and no longer has to steal K.s! And just think how much more blip-browsing I can do on it. I am most lucky!

It was a lovely day so we took a walk out, past the National Bank (seen here) and through streets with which we were less familiar.

And home now, with pork marinading in a spicy sauce to be eaten shortly (after cooking, of course).....

207 - I can't think of too many contemporary songs that will stay the distance and be listened to in many years to come, but this one deserves to be around for a very long time.
