Cloud…………..
……………Replica
This mini pier on the Marine Parade at Napier, NZ, is both functional and decorative.
Waste water pipes are hidden below this structure and the white frames have been designed to represent a cloud. Clear glass across the end provides safety while not spoiling the illusion of infinity.
Napier city is well known for its Art Deco architecture, built following the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake in February 1931. These buildings have been well preserved with 140 still existing today.

I can’t thank you all enough for the stars, hearts and lovely comments for the Gannet photos. I was blown away by the response and send you all a very big heartfelt thank you.
This is actually a back blip as we were too late home last night and today we have been away for the day and evening.
