A change in the weather .........

It has been a day of problems and difficulties. But that is to be expected.

The gilded salmon weathervane atop Christchurch Priory indicates the wind is blowing from the east (see extra). And there is a chill in the air.

I thought of using the other extra as the main pic - at this stage of the late afternoon, the gloom was metaphorical as well as actual.

But we re-grouped. And so I have chosen this view from Hengitsbury Head. The Isle of Wight is bathed in sunshine. But above us dark clouds threaten a right soaking. But it never materialised. Actually or metaphorically.
