Bramley wind falls

Went for my eggs from the farm and Dorothy the farmers wife asked if I would like some windfalls for baking, they turned out to be Bramley's, these are just a few of what she gave me, what a huge tree it was. So I have been busy stewing them today, Wednesday, to freeze for later use, My freezer is rather full of tomato soup, vegetable soup, rhubarb, cranberries and now apple, as well as other everyday things one keeps in a freezer.

The farm is where we originally got Molly from and she makes such a fuss of them, I'm sure she remembers even after all this time, if she's in the car she squeals when as she sees Dorothy.
