Different Takes

A cold and windy start to the day.

It is a National Holiday for Hispaniola Day so no Pilates today.   We decided to go for a drive and headed towards Roquetas to the Marina and drove past and parked up.   When we left Almerimar it was blowing a Hooley but in Roquetas it was a lovely day and we had a long walk on the Promenade and stopped off for a coffee.   People sunbathing, swimming and enjoying the Fiesta.

On our return along the Prom we call for a drink and tapa and watched a family with a Paddle Board.

Returning to Almerimar it was dull and very windy so we stopped off there on the Prom and I took a contrasting picture (see extra).   What a difference some 45 minutes and 20 km away!

The forecasters are saying that the whole of Spain is due rain today!   I think looking out it has just started here.   I am sure by now it will also be dull and windy in Roquetas as it is headed in that direction.   Much need rain!
