¡Shady! Characters

I did manage to get up this morning on time!   A warm, sunny, windy day.

This afternoon, most of our Bowls Club went to the Golf Course to practice for a competition we are in with the Friday Golf Society.   Each year they come to us to bowl and we go to them to golf, combining the scores.

Last year we beat them at their own game so the rules have changed - we are now doing chip and putt instead of just putting!   I think we have got them on the run!   The three men standing under the Palm tree were obviously discussing form and team selection?

We had a good hour at it and all enjoyed it.   If we can remember what to do on Wednesday, we should do alright!

The course was very busy as it is Spanish Day to celebrate Christopher Columbus  discovering the New World, and also it is Spain's Armed Forces Day as well.   A big Military Parade was held in Madrid.
