The Defining Rock
The bay of Cadaques is defined by this rock which from this angle looks like the Ailsa Craig but from most looks like the shark fin of a great white.
Despite the beauty of the place, I think its attraction for us lies in the underlying ruggedness that comes to the fore when the sun drops. The durability of Scotland comes out and if you we’re to cut us in the moment, I'm sure, we would bleed granite.
