Freddy of The Sonics

The Sonics were an underground band that came out Seattle in the early sixties. Their lead singer is now in his seventies and while he takes part in many of the gigs relies on Freddy (pictured on the left) to replicate his vocal tones on stage much of the time - Freddy also plays bass. The other nice guy to the right is the lead sound engineer.

They are a hard rock and roll band and will play a famous intimate venue here this week called Bikini. We will miss that date but will coincide with them when they play Rio on 12th January. We foamed at the mouth as best we could (and as we understand groupies do) and were rewarded by the promise of back stage passes! So, stand by for a leather buying explosion on our blip pages!
