Devonshire Village
Just before we left Devon (and Dorset as we kept crossing the border) today, we called in at this little village.
I couldn't help but think that this view would have hardly changed over many years - except for the addition of the war memorial about a century ago.
Some of the locals thought that we must be TV crew as their arrival was imminent. They were going to film an article about a proposed electricity generating plant. It's hard to imagine that anyone would even consider building it in this area.
You can just glimpse a view of the Blackdown Hills behind these cottages - a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
