Trying to mix with the locals, Little D tries to top up the tan with some chocolate from one of our regular haunts, Smooy.

It was another scorcher and we decided to stick by the pool so the kids could nap whenever they needed to. Miss A, of course, is like the Duracell bunny and just doesn't stop, then becomes really unreasonable and teary with heat/tiredness.

We took a walk into town for a late dinner and to enjoy the buzz of the place. It certainly comes alive after dark and it always amazes me how many children are still up at midnight. Tonight, as the clock struck 12, our kids were at a busy swing park having a whale of a time.
