Double Indemnity
The challenge for this week’s mono Monday is “double indemnity”.
It happens to be the title of a famous film noir from 1944.
But the term "double indemnity" also refers to a clause in certain life insurance policies that doubles the payout in rare cases when death is caused accidentally, such as while riding a railway.
Where to start? Well, I found this drawing on the studio floor this morning while going through a de-cluttering process.
If you look carefully you will spot two double profiles……does this qualify for this week’s challenge? (I had mistakenly read it as “double identity). Probably not...
