My handsome boys

Got the tent down dry this morning, which is always a wee bonus, and headed off to Alnwick Castle Gardens.

First off the tree house was impresive in a Tolkienesque manner but the kids were disappointed it was just really an expensive restaurant and not a good place for a caper.

All in all though the place is lovely, very well done and immaculate. Personal favourite was the water sculptures, good bit of physics meets art in there.... oh and wee boys can get soaked. Never went into the poison garden, knowing my pair one of us would have ended up in Newcastle Infirmary...

Good end to a good weekend.
