Roost

The morning was a little full on for a Saturday - hair cuts, swimming lessons, flu vaccinations and birthday present wrapping were all involved.

By 12.30 all was calm again and we'd lost the 2 youngest and gained a 13 year old. With the teenagers studiously doing homework, MrRoly and I gardened, starting to pull down the dead hedge overgrown with ivy and brambles.

Steady progress was made though I bailed out to ferry teenagers about and ship for tea. On my return I was informed that Blossom had decided to channel her inner pigeon/magpie and take to the tree.

A gentle evening of awaiting/collecting offspring between courses of our tea and a relatively early night for our aching bones!
