Passed these two fellas on our way to Perth this afternoon.  Had no idea what they were all about but a quick Google soon gave me the answer.  Full story 
HERE.    They made me smile and I am glad there's a happy story behind their creation.

Up in Perth this afternoon to look at yet more tiles for the new kitchen and garden room.  Thankfully this time we knew what were looking for (having dismissed so many samples) and quickly narrowed the choice down to two.  

Of course even that is complicated as we prefer the style of one tile slightly more than the other but prefer the larger size of the other tile.  The very patient and knowledgeable sales lady is getting samples in for us for Wednesday so we should have a final decision by the end of the week (then we can start thinking about tiles for the wet room/changing room!)

The good news is both sets of tiles are in stock so we don't have to worry about lengthy delivery times.  The builder will be pleased.

Tomorrow we have to decide where on the ceiling the pendant light that will illuminate the centre of the dining table should be placed.  The only problem is we haven't bought the table yet.   We like to live life on the edge :-))
