Interlude

We escaped to the pub for an hour mid afternoon and had a rather heavenly sharing plate and (in my case) an excellent pint of Timothy Taylor. The chairs were comfortable, the pub was quiet but cosy, and we had each other for company.

Otherwise just a domestic day of cleaning and shopping, although there is the promise of movie night ahead. 

Dylan's recovery is continuing although the incontinence phase is less than fun. Tomorrow the woman who rescued him is coming over to say hi.

The pub by the way is the excellent White Hart in Pirbright.

PS - we sat down as a family and watched an old favourite - Enemy of the State - with Gene Hackman and Will Smith. Looked great on the big screen and hasn't aged, in fact its themes are more contemporary than ever. And TSM and I cooked an absolutely wicked apple crumble ..
