Banding together

Another long day, but worth all the effort (the chicken was disappointing, but the puds were good). Our guests were all friends of many years and for one, it was her first evening out since a double mastectomy. Good to see her looking tired, but well. Also, although we’ve been dancing to his playing for 28 years now, it was the first time we’ve been able to welcome Iain MacPhail, band leader extraordinaire, to our home. Great to see him here and we hope it will be the first of many visits.
