Lanterns

We had a lovely lunch with some refugee friends from Mos. They were so generous in cooking up a feast for us (see extra).

Little J had a great time with all the boys his age. He taught them how to make Chinese lanterns which was all very civilised until they decided to have a 'lantern fight ' (like a conker fight) which destroyed them.

It was sad hearing the stories of what it's like at the moment for their relatives stuck in Mos. They don't know what they're going to do when the liberation starts - especially their elderly mothers.
