Xemgeen

This word in K means "eat your tears" which is how you describe feeling devastated about something. I used this word a few times today when we were on a picnic with a refugee family from Aleppo. I can't imagine what it must be like for them seeing on their televisions every day the devastation from their city. The daughter showed me footage on her phone from their street where their apaprtment block had been destroyed in a bomb (they managed to get back to see the damage before they fled).

We painted these sunflowers today in school during a you tube art lesson.
