Thiepval

Last day today then home later....visited so many places with so many poignant memories....
The last time we visited Thiepval it was shrouded in fog and looked quite eery.....

This time it was bathed in sunshine but still has an air of sadness....

This tour has been amazing for lots of reasons but the main thing I will take away is the complete and utter waste of so many lives from all sides...
