Martini

It was late afternoon early evening. Outside the weather was dark and wet. I hadn't taken a photo yet. But I had just made myself a nice martini. So here it is as seen from above the glass by someone who is about to take the first sip. Ahhh.

Another packed day today. Started the wash. Had a long conversation with a company that does a required interview with prospective reverse mortgage candidates. Sarah and I talked a very long time. She used the federally prescribed questions and I answered them all. At one point I heard a dog bark so at the end I asked her if she worked from home. Yes she did. The whole process was not hard and I did learn some things I didn't know. In the end I decided to go ahead.

Then we had our support group from one to three. Like last time the group was huge. We didn't fit around the table and bowed out on one end in a circle of chairs so we could all see and hear each other. I'm hoping that the group will shrink a bit in the future but we still had some good discussions. And we met the new Director of the Alzheimer's Society of Washington here in Bellingham. As always I'm glad I went

Meanwhile at the ranch I finished washing and drying the clothes. Okay. It isn't a ranch, but you get the idea. I couldn't get it all done, so the clean wash is in a neat pile ready to be hung up tomorrow.

Arvin and I had a light dinner and watched TV until bedtime.
