Autumn fruit

We picked some wild damsons from the hedge over the road, and also our cooking apples. I've stewed both for the freezer and breakfasts, plus taken a load along to our friends in the street.

Thomas and James come tomorrow till Sunday as their parents will be at a wedding, #2 daughter's brother-in-law is getting married. Apparently they could not do so in Northern Ireland - only civil partnerships are allowed, not same sex marriages, so they are having a ceremony in Culzean Castle in Scotland.
