White Cliffs of Dover

First real day of my holiday, and following the weekend with Mum, took the opportunity to stay an extra day and take a trip out to Dover. I have always intended to walk the 2 miles from the National Trust Visitors Centre along the cliff to the South Foreland Lighthouse. All the leaflets say it is a "gentle walk" - not sure I would agree - but then sitting in front of a computer screen most days is not good for one's general level of fitness!

I had thought of adding There'll be bluebirds over the White Cliffs of Dover to the photo to keep in with missymoo's August Challenge, but decided against it!
