Not my sport.

I did play as a teenager. I have played Royal Hua Hin in Thailand (reluctantly - it was 35c). I've even had a few rounds in Pennsylvania and Crete. How cosmopolitan.

Today I found myself walking across the 1st & 18th fairways of the Old Course at St Andrews, on the way to meet friends for lunch. Seemed like the ideal Blip.

It's a public course, and no play takes place on Sunday. So anyone can walk the dog on it, or kick a football about. The clubhouse is private of course - the R&A Club, I suppose.

I've been to an Open Championship there - 1999 or 2000. Good fun, even if it's not my sport. Or was that the sponsors tent I enjoyed?
