Eichstätt

It's one of those many Bavarian towns which is really lovely, but pretty much unknown to foreigners.

I cycled over there today (and back). About 2 hours each way. Roughly 40km. Hilly, and warm - 24c. A great wee jaunt.

I had lunch (with a beer) in a Biergarten by the river. Lovely.

By coincidence, the beer lorry caught in my Blip belongs to Hofmühl. The local brewery there. My favourite. By further coincidence, that's what I had for lunch. Even more bizarre, that's what was waiting for me in the fridge when I got back back.
