Winter Arrives in the High Country

After two days of heavy clouds obstructing our mountain view, we got our first glimpse of snow (still falling) on the higher mountains.  From where I was standing, the highest peaks are about 35 miles away.  The closest "foothills"  are about 10 miles away.  I liked this shot of fall in the valley and winter in the mountains.  The view looks better large.  :-)
