Before the Rains come

Out early before the rain arrives and snapped a local landmark called Polnar Dam. Not much of a dam but this resevoir/lake/pond/puddle suuplied all the water for the Locomotive Works which is what my town was built around.

The loco works have long gone and the land is in the process of being turned iinto shops/housing but it's legacy remains out and about.

Like all things these days little gems like this are not easy to see and I had to play Indiana Jones to get through the overgrown weeds to get a decent shot.
