Across the Solway

Today's the day ........................ for a new perspective

An early misty morning train journey for me today on the line from Dumfries to Carlisle.

I've never been on that line before.  It was interesting to look southwards across the Solway and see the mountains of the Lake District from that angle.

They look wonderful from any angle ........................
