Cycling my old routes/roots...

...along the coast from Tynemouth to St Mary's Lighthouse with Sue, one of my oldest friends ( see extra ). Another beautiful day - and we set off via the cobles at Cullercoats and the maxi sandcastle seats at Whitley Bay to St Mary's Lighthouse and an ice cream! Tootled over the causeway before it flooded over to get back to the bikes, and home again via a coffee at the Rendevous Cafe - see the extras for the route! Disappointed that Sue vetoed a trip through the skateboard/bike park...
These are my roots in the North east - I miss the sea living near landlocked Barnsley, but visit at any opportunity ;)
