Strictly Come Prancing...?!

It was a glorious autumn morning in Macclesfield so of course I had to go out with my camera to capture a blip before breakfast. I took a few rather nice shots by the canal (for example, see the extra showing the old Hovis Mill which is now an apartment block).

However I then spotted this heron flying over Knight's Pool and it settled on a rooftop. I took several shots of it, and then was lucky to capture this one just as it was about to take off. Don't be surprised if you see him/her on "Strictly" soon...!  :-))
