Harvest Weekend, Sunday
Today I went back to the Harvest Weekend event in and around the Cathedral, as I said I would. Dotted around inside the building were scarecrows made by local primary school kids. It was a competition. This one was the winner.
I'd blipped some of them yesterday but realised I hadn't quite got it. The scarecrows were so characterful, with such expressive faces, that I decided to go back today and try for some interaction. Here the boy is mimicking the stance of the main figure. In the first Extra, it is the scarecrow that is mimicking the people! Also in Extras is Charlie the barn owl about to be flown by a member of the audience. Brave woman.
Thank you sooo much for putting the falcon on page 2. you are lovely people. Happy Sunday evening xx
