Last call...

...for Summer!  As the first day of October arrives, so the Summer fades.  Today has been one of heavy showers and sunshine: during one of the sunny breaks I popped out into he garden and took this rather fuzzy shot of a bee  working his way through the fuchsia flowers.
Still trying to wash and dry some things for  our holiday.  Tomorrow is daughter #2 's birthday so we will go out for lunch with her and the family before setting off for the airport early evening.  Our flight is early tomorrow but it saves a lot of worry if we stay over the night before rather than battling the Monday morning rush hour traffic!
