New floor

An extra tiring day today!  We'd hoped to be able to cut the new 'floorboards' in the flat, but there just wasn't enough space, so we had to cart each (big, heavy) one downstairs and do it out there instead.  We were actually very glad when we swept up all the sawdust at the end of the day - at least that wasn't in our flat - but going up and down the stairs lots of times was very tiring.

This was basically our whole day - but the end result was very pleasing - a perfectly flat and solid base for the new floor to be laid on.  We also managed to reinstate the cooker today, so actually cooked a relatively healthy dinner (of baked potatoes) this evening instead of getting yet another takeaway :)
