Bruce for a change
Well just to remind folk there are two dogs in our family here is the camera shy Bruce in main frame.
Caley can be distracted from virtually anything when you pick up his favourite stick; any stick that is which he has dropped at your feet.
This morning walk preceeded a big day of travel and sport. I took Lewis to see Caley Thistle play Kilmarnock at Inverness in the afternoon. It was an entertaining match full of talking points; a one one draw doesn't tell the full story. Caley's keeper, Ryan Esson, pulled off a wonderful double save from a Killie penalty and late on a normally well behaved Caley central defender lost the head after being cynically fouled and was red carded. His uncharacteristic burst of retaliation was immediately recognised as a sending off offence by the home support and they were rightly incensed at his stupidity.
It was very hot at the match and I think the heat had a huge effect on the players who all looked shattered at the final whistle.
We only go occassionally to see Caley play a home game and usually you are wrapped up against the bitter cold driving in off the Moray Firth. Today my exposed legs (it was so hot I was in shorts) got slight sun burn.
Oh Aye, Caley, our young yellow lab -normally centre stage on blip- was named by Lewis after Caley Thistle.
