Ho ho ho

Busy, busy, busy. Had a request from a good friend for a christmas cake, bearing in mind I go on holiday on Sunday. Fortunately I had a spare fruit cake, I was going to take it on holiday for us to have a slice of cake and a cuppa after a hard day on the slopes, but John now has it, sorry Roy!!

Anyway after a hectic day yesterday, 2 gym classes, a memorial service for a friend,hospital appointments for both myself and Roy, I finally started decorating the cake at 9pm last night and finished it at 11pm, I then sat down with a well deserved whisky.

Had the Slimming club Christmas lunch today!! Too much food and booze, I was driving so I only had a bucks fizz then it was fizzy water, the police are doing spot checks and breathalysing people so it's not worth taking a chance, my licence is precious. Got the gym dinner dance on Friday night, posh frock do, another boozy night, then step class on Saturday morning, hangover permitting!!

It's a hard life!!
