Funny street names

We have spent quite a bit of time during the last couple of weeks going back and to to the hospital, Roy has had to have a series of tests for a dicky ticker, results on Monday. There is a road near to the hospital with this fantastic name. What I want to know is, who in their right mind would give a road such a name, and more importantly would you want to live in a road with this name. Over here we don't have simple road names like Acorn Terrace etc, we have really long complicated street names, just to confuse the postman.
