A sudden sharp shower in Guildford today drove shoppers to shelter in doorways, but it didn't last long and the sun came out, glinting on the wet road.
I enjoyed my morning in Guildford. It is a long time since I have had a browse in our county town. I had a successful shop and then had lunch in Wagamama's, a very noisy eating place. There were a lot of students in town - shouldn't they be at lectures?
