Avebury (Wednesday 28th September 2016)

I had another wander around the stone circle at Avebury, and among the stones there were some sheep grazing. One of the things that I like about them is that their faces are so varied, even among the same type of sheep, and I found this one quite striking. I'm afraid there are no sarsen stones on show in this blip though there are plenty in the album of the visit.

This is actually a version of Needles And Pins and was a number one hit in France, with a new lyric by Jacques Plante. It featured in the 2014 film Two Days, One Night, starring Marion Cotillard, that I watched on this day.
