A little grayling

Today I went for a very short amble round Winchester.  This young guy was very cheekily fishing in a branch of the Itchen that runs along a strip of public park between the City Mill and Wharf Mill.  I've never seen anyone fishing there before.  He was catching one or two.  This one, he said, was a small grayling though I wouldn't know, fishing and its attractions are a bit of a mystery to me.
