Inside the geode

If you have noticed my blips from last year you will see we were in America.

In the Mojave desert we visited Calico ghost town and Chris bought himself a geode. Since then it has sat on the kitchen table as he has been too scared to break it open in case he was disappointed with the outcome.

Here it is - he finally plucked up the courage while we were away in Glasgow. As you can see it is full of wonderful, sparkly quartz crystals. (See Large)

A great reminder and souvenir of a super holiday.
