Dining al fresco

Our friends arrived today from the Midwest..L and I were roommates at the University of Michigan in the early 60s and 3 of the 4 lived in Seattle for a few years at different times. Great to see them...The air was warm enuf we could enjoy meals outside on the screened porch and pretend it's still summer ..(with a jacket on :-) . Only it got dark so early ! we had to get the candles out...but enjoyed a subtle sunset with our dinner. The extra is lunch. We'll put them to work tomorrow!! :-)
