A different Kind of Airport

…otherwise known as small. The Charles Schulz Sonoma County Airport is very small, very casual and requires no arriving two hours ahead, There are statues of Lucy with her suitcase and camera, Snoopy ready to take on the Red Baron and the airport information booth which looks exactly like Lucy's psychological advice 5 cents booth. There are never more than eight people in line and the line moves quickly. It is the perfect airport as long as one is going to Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Phoenix or San Diego.

I was sad to say good-bye to Rick and Meg and send them back to San Diego, but it has been a mutually beneficial time for us all. They had a little wine country break and we were able to go on our trip knowing that they would take good care of Ozzie and the garden. We had a few overlapping days which were pleasant despite the fact that because of OilMan's man cold I had to decamp to a blow up bed in the office….
